Working on the Scottish Government's Climate Action Towns pilot project.Contributing my skills in systems thinking, user-centred design, co-design and climate change adaptation planning. Working with communities, local authorities and third sector to identify climate action with co-benefits at town scale, and foster collaboration for wider systems change.

At Snook I led teams on user-centred design projects and worked as Thriving Planet Lead to develop the company's planet-centred design mission, with my colleague Lucy Stewart.I embedded climate change in key business objectives, developed planet-centred design methods and training, identified and won new business, and grew an enthusiastic internal working group. As a result, Snook is pioneering ways to design for people and planet with a growing portfolio of climate-related projects.Highlights include:• Prototyping a circular service offering with EGG Lighting. Project Lead• Research, strategy and place-based case studies to inform Cork County Council’s first Climate Action Plan. Project Lead • Upskilling DEFRA’s User-Centred Design team in Planet-Centred Design to consider the environmental impact across all design projects. Project Lead • Transforming the way young people’s experiences are heard and acted upon within the care system for Renfrewshire Council and Dartington Service Design Lab. Project Director• Identifying policy and pilot opportunities for the Scottish Government to overcome the systemic challenges of delivering digital connectivity in social housing.
