The goal of this firm is to expand to become a reputable engineering firm by providing unparalleled services on various projects throughout the State of Florida. Services include design and analysis of new and existing structures (i.e. concrete, steel, masonry, timber, etc.) by utilizing state-of-the-art analytical methods and design tools. Cueto Engineering specializes in Finite Element Modeling (FEM) for the advanced analysis of various structures. Additionally, Cueto Engineering provides evaluation of miscellaneous structural components (i.e. anchor bolts, base plates, embedded plates, pipe supports, etc.) as well as drafting and modeling services.Cueto Engineering is a new company which provides professional engineering services for clients that manage, maintain, and plan for residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Our primary business focus is in the public and private sector markets across South Florida with aspirations to expand to projects throughout the State of Florida. · Provided technical direction to engineers, designers, and drafters who need guidance on specific assignments.· Reviewed construction work packages to ensure engineering design intent was well sequenced and fully incorporated.· Walk-down of various piping systems to analyze and design vertical and lateral pipe supports.· Interfaced with pipe stress engineers, field/construction engineers, designers, mechanical engineers, welders, etc.· Originated, checked, and reviewed calculations and drawings using vendor information for specific structures, systemsand components.· Communicated with engineering lead and coworkers to ensure consistent designs were produced in order to maintaindedication to our quality and safety values.· Coordinated with other disciplines and the client to complete task items for each Plant Change/ Modification (PC/M).· Created fabrication / installation drawings for construction and engineering documents by utilizing AutoCAD.· Developed Plant Change/Modification (PC/M) package while facilitating clear communication between disciplinesregarding client expectations and project scope.· Participated in a walk-down and discussion of an existing system design at a similar facility. This was done in order todefine design error precursors, anticipate construction issues, and incorporate Operational Experience (OE) into thedesign of a new plant system.· Devised on-the-spot solutions for construction related problems in order to keep the project off critical path schedule.· Designed a pipe shield to protect surrounding sensitive equipment for a postulated pipe rupture. This involved creating afinite element model with temperature and pressure effects using GTStrudl.· Active member of NextGen group serving as a community involvement chair and participating in boarddecisions/discussions.

· Analyzed concrete slabs for reinforcement design in a high-level waste nuclear facility to include the effects of revised ground motion spectra using SAP 2000 and MS Excel Visual Basic macros. · Performed reviews of vendor rebar shop drawings to ensure congruence with engineering drawings and construction schedule. · Originated and reviewed calculations and drawings for steel and concrete structures. · Organized group presentations relating to safety and quality performance values. · Analyzed steel support structures for seismic and thermal loading for the Plant Design group. · Designed several temporary work platforms for use in construction activities while utilizing available materials. · Co-Developed Validation & Verification report for SAP 2000 by creating several structural models using GTStrudl and comparing the results to identical models in SAP 2000. · Formulated calculations for the design of embedment plates using ME035 software and MS Excel w/ Visual Basic macros. · Participated in a structural project review for the Los Alamos Nat'l. Lab (LANL) and presented findings to the Nat'l. Nuclear Securities Admin. (NNSA) while working with Bechtel Fellow Orhan Gurbuz. · Designed CMU walls and foundations for the Pueblo Chemical Agent Processing Plant (PCAPP) DOD project. · Participated in NextGen learning programs and community service / social events.
