* Provide the administration and coordination of activities for the design and construction of the more complex and/or highly visible construction and modernization projects under the guidance of a senior level SCA Project Officer.* Ensure the quality and high standards of performance and compliance in both design and construction by all consultants, vendors, etc.* Make decisions and take action in a timely manner to expedite the timely completion of the construction process.* Correct mistakes and errors in design and construction before they can be extensively incorporated into the project or as early in the construction process as possible.* Make decisions on phasing and scheduling of projects. Prepare and/or ensure preparation of schedules for planning, design and construction. Monitor schedules and take appropriate actions to ensure that project is completed on schedule and within approved cost limitations.* Provide ongoing interface with contractors, construction managers, local school personnel and Senior Project Officers on project issues; routinely interact with SCA senior managers on such matters.* Participate i the development and issuance of project procedures and policies; review and make recommendations on SCA-wide procedures and policies.* Provide guidance and advice to lower level Project Officers.* Resolve issues and problems raised in field reports made by architects and construction management staff. * Work with architect/engineer of record regarding change orders, interpretation of contract documents, shop drawing submittals/approvals and other technical matters as required to ensure a structurally sound, code compliant and aesthetic facility.* Issue field memoranda or directives to contractors to enforce contract compliance. Advise senior management regarding the necessity for the assessment of liquidated damages and other contractual enforcement mechanisms, including default.

Project: NYCDEP 26th Ward - Water Pollution Control Plant (Contract 12H & 12E – Miscellaneous Improvements)•Oversee all HVAC & Electrical work performed on-site, and keep track by recording dailies.•Utilize DEP Standard of Procedures (SOP’s) for record keeping and installation procedure.•Partake in constructing and negotiating of change orders.•Thoroughly review contractor’s partial payment billing and handle negotiations with contractor’s PM.•Gather and supply all required backup of contractor’s partial payment for the Client’s Auditor.•Partake in weekly meetings with all foremen on jobsite for all upcoming scheduled work.•Organize and keep well communication between the contractors and plant liaison, to make work effective with minimum inconvenience on plant operations.•Prepare and issue RFCs (Request for Clarifications) to design team on upcoming work.•Prepare and issue memorandums to contractor for directive, clarifications and or documenting events occurring on site.•Daily verification of all contractors/subcontractors work occurring on-site and cross reference with contractor’s engineer approved shop drawing.•Review subcontractor’s shop drawing submittals and supply design engineer with comments and explanation of existing field conditions of workspace.

Project: Lincoln Center - Alice Tully Hall Theater ($170 MM)• Manage change orders for ten trades.• Verify legitimacy of subcontractors’ change orders with Project Manager.• Lead and partake weekly meetings with client and design team to review change orders.• Record daily temperature and relative humidity readings to insure the maintenance of the imported wood panel as per AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) specifications to preserve its warranty.• Analyze the recorded readings to prepare a weekly temperature and relative humidity report to be distributed to clients, Turner executive mangers and design team.• Coordination and scheduling of multiple trades.• Organize construction-coordination meetings with subcontractors and design team.• Supervise twelve trades in the field on the ceiling construction of the theater.• Frequently perform walk-throughs of the jobsite to ensure work is performed in a safe environment and safe working manner.
