  • Autodesk
    Future Of Learning Intern
    Autodesk Jun 2019 - Aug 2019
    San Francisco, Ca, Us
As part of Autodesk's Strategic Foresight team (CTO's office), I worked with Mr. Mickey McManus to explore how we can use machine-learning systems to protect, manage, and regenerate our cognitive resources, especially for learning and creativity. We designed two conceptual ML systems to support cognitive capacity management and life-long learning: ▪ The 'Juice Meter' is a tool to help us manage our cognitive resources by raising awareness of our cognitive capacity reserves and load in real-time. ▪ The 'Which-Watch,' a tool to build creative capacity by helping us learn to build new habits, methods, and mindsets, particularly around creativity, productivity, and growth. In addition, we developed a cognitive information architecture model to understand better the complexity and constantly changing nature of our cognitive resources. The role of our past experiences, needs, identity, motivations, goals, actions, the environment we are in, our available resources, and the required ones (e.g., cognitive workload, knowledge, methods, and artifacts).Accomplishments:▪ Designed and presented to executive management a concept for an AI system to support lifelong learning. Some aspects are being piloted today in Autodesk’s most successful product (AutoCAD)▪ Facilitated a discussion with the Secretary of Defense Corporate Fellows Program (SDCFP) officers about effective strategies for commanding officers to promote cognitive diversity within the US military▪ Presented at Autodesk University 2019’s innovation forum (part of Autodesk’s 10,000+ person customer event)
