Mbadika, is a not-for-profit organization focused on providing youth around the world with the tools needed to overcome challenges in bringing their solutions for themselves and their communities into reality through educational workshops, online video series, and a product line of DIY (do-it-yourself) kits. Since 2011, Mbadika has assisted over 2,000 youth around the world to realize their potential and unleash their inner innovator and entrepreneur. Currently based in Boston, USA and Cape Town, South Africa, Mbadika is fostering youth-driven innovation and entrepreneurship around the world. >>Previous Outreach Programs: Diiaki (2012-2013)Creation and Organization of the 2012-2013 Diiaki Innovation Program in order to foster innovative thinking amongst local youth in Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. The program introduced local high school students and university underclassmen to human-centered design and social entrepreneurship through the process of creating their own companies and prototypes during the course of an intensive 2-week program.The Diiaki program has been merged with Mbadika's mLab (Mbadika Laboratory) programs. Kixibu (July 2011) Creation and Organization of the 2011 Kixibu Pilot Innovation Program in order to foster innovative thinking amongst local youth in the Belo Horizonte/Greater Minas Gerais area. The program introduced local high school students to innovative thinking through the process of creating their own companies and prototypes during the course of the July 2011 while serving as a pilot for the Diiaki program series.

Conducted analysis of single carbon nanotubes under various wavelength lasers (e.g. Red, Blue, Green, etc.).Conducted analysis of single carbon nanotubes under various solutions (e.g. HCI, HNO3, etc.).

Maintain YS (Young Savants) Tutor records in order to evaluate student progress throughout the program.Recruit potential Young Savants tutor/mentor(s) in order to properly serve Young Savants with role models who can help them obtain the life and academic skills necessary for in the classroom, at home, and in the community.Market program through advertising and hosting information sessions at and maintaining contact with Boston/Cambridge-area Universities in order to spread awareness of the program, recruit potential sponsors, and recruit tutor/mentor(s).

MIT AgeLab is a research laboratory which focuses on studying the effects of age on motor functions and engineer products to help seniors maintain independence. Conducted analysis of EKG Data from Volkswagen New Beetle 2000 Simulator.Tested Volkswagen New Beetle 2000 Simulator for mechanical or program errors.Analyzed Test Subject Questionnaires submitted by volunteers and create database in order to allow for researchers to quickly retrieve information.

Creation & Organization of ScienceDays Tallahassee, FL Chapter in order to increase awareness among primary/secondary school minority females of the importance of a STEM (Science, Technology, Education, and Mathematics) education.Created Science Days of Tallahassee website in order to recruit ScienceDays participants, volunteers, potential sponsors. Website obtained entire ScienceDays Tallahassee Spring 2008 curriculum including lesson plans, videos, online video lessons, and resources to learn more information concerning STEM topics.Taught all classroom/online lessons in groups of up to 15.Organized ScienceDays Science Fair and Final Banquet as a thank you for sponsors, participants, volunteers, and parents.
