At Nisa Retail I’m responsible for the IT function, covering all aspects of technology in use across the business.Responsible for all department Opex and Capex budgetary control, leadership of 70+ IT colleagues covering Project Managers, Developers, Engineers, Test teams, Sales and Service desks. Responsible for the design and architecture of new solutions and technologies across the Wholesale and Retail estate. Ownership of all Technology in use at Nisa including Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, data warehousing, Erp, supply chain, warehouse management, eCommerce, Finance, document management and Integration between all best of breed solutions.Passionate about my role, and enjoy working with clients and users to analyse requirements and design solutions to solve business needs.Recent achievements include winning the Retail Systems awards Retailer of the year 2021 for development of a mobile B2b e-commerce app capturing over £140m per annum in sales, and winner of the Online innovation of the year 2018 for an industry leading on line portal allowing retail collaboration between hundreds of suppliers and thousands of independent retailers across the U.K.I have a Master’s Degree and Postgraduate diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry, and a BA in business Information Systems and enjoy learning.Always interested in hearing from Colleagues, Managers and friends.
