For the last 16 years I have overseen the development of a worldwide network of servers providing services to a diverse customer base. The software, written in Python, checks on and reports the uptime of virtually every kind of internet connected device. In addition to implementation, I have been responsible for securing those servers from external hacking threats.I have 30 years of experience as a software developer, network administrator and consultant. I was one of the 1st 10 Microsoft Certified Solution Developers. Dr Dobbs as well as several other magazines have published my articles on Java and Python. I contributed a chapter in conjunction with Guido van Rossum to the 1st edition of "The Quick Python Book." I have a wife, 3 kids, and the bestest dog Ripley.
