I scrapped and rebuilt from scratch, using Codeigniter and JQuery. Within a year we developed a well structured, secure and highly scalable application still in use today.We developed a single-sign-on system that allows lawyers, judges and plaintiffs to log into and register from the main portal seamlessly creating, editing and managing their cases across the central Mylawsuit.com application with Wordpress and PHP Bulletin Board. -
Chief ArchitectGoingon Apr 2008 - Jan 2010As the Chief Architect of Goingon I transformed the infrastructure that was using unstable and outsourced, procedurally written, unpredictable code to a multitenant, MVC, object oriented, stable, secure platform being used by hundreds of thousands of users. I redesigned, implemented and deployed a new network, system, and software architectures from scratch leading a team of 4 engineers and prototyped/integrated such technologies as JQuery, Google UI, YUI, Zend extensions, Moodle, Drupal, and Kaltura into Goingon's platform.One of the more interesting aspects of the work was creating a seamless sessions protocol between Drupal and Moodle that allowed the users to access and create content along with the backend administration controls in both applications after single registration and single sign on. Tying that with a dynamic, JQuery driven front end made it user friendly for both the business side of the Goingon team as well as its customers.
