Neuriel's time working at Jewish National Fund (JNF) in particular involves bridging the local LA-based $8 Million annual campaign to the national goal of raising $1 Billion over 10 years. Strategies and tactics to achieve this goal include lay leadership development, event planning, community building, securing corporate sponsorships, and positioning the JNF brand among prospective donors and other stakeholders. Neuriel's sub-specialties include working with professionals in the entertainment industry, commercial real estate, and engaging residents and institutions of the Pico-Robertson neighborhood of LA. STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONSWith experiences in corporate, agency and nonprofit settings, Neuriel possesses the portfolio of skills necessary to adapt to an ever-fluctuating communications landscape. With a M.A. in Strategic Public Relations, as well as B.A. degrees in Sociology and Communications, Neuriel bridges communications theory and research, with real-world application. A partial list of cause-focused organizations that Neuriel has worked with while in a communications role include American Lung Association, First 5 LA, Kellogg Foundation, Media Democracy Fund, Southern California Grantmakers, Abode Communities, EcoSave Technologies, and Meaningful Media.COMMUNITY RELATIONSThe concentration of Neuriel's experience falls with The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, where he spent 3.5 years collaborating with over 100 organizations to produce over 90 community service project programs. Through these programs, ~2,000 Federation volunteers provided thousands of hours of investment in our great city, addressing issues such as hunger and food insecurity, environmental sustainability, at-risk youth, and others. Additionally, through the Federation’s government affairs programs, Neuriel connected Jewish communities across California to public officials to address the issues that matter to all in our city: education, transportation, economic development, etc. Specialties: branding; program design and evaluation; partnership development.
