Hello! Glad you're here!I'm Sam, a late diagnosed ADHDer, and certified Level 1 ADHD Works Coach. Having spent most of my life struggling with things that seem easy to everyone else, and bouncing from interest to interest, it was a true lightbulb moment when I realised I had ADHD (the inattentive type). I'm a proud dad to 2 autistic ADHD kids (and another who isn't) who have incredible brains, and finding out about them led me to discover that I'm the same. Learning about things like executive function challenges, emotional dysregulation and RSD (rejection sensitivity) led me to a better understanding of myself, and getting coaching myself via Access to Work has been utterly transformative. That's why I'm moving away from my 15 year career in IT to become an ADHD coach. Understanding how the neurodiverse brain works is key to understanding how to manage it, and coaching specifically tailored to ADHD can be an incredible tool in self learning, and can provide a pathway to a more fulfilling life and a better relationship with yourself.That's why I want to help as many other ADHDers as I can learn how to drive their incredible minds, utilise all the positive traits ADHD can bring, and unscramble their brains! I bring a deep understanding of the challenges ADHDers face, along with lived experience and knowledge of the overlaps with autism and other neurodiverse conditions.
