Obtainment of seawater samples and establishment of monoclonal cultures from isolation with a glass micropipette of infected cells. - Maintenance of cultures of + 50 dinoflagellates obtained from the culture collection of the "Centro Oceanográfico de Vigo (CCVIEO)", Spain, and the culture collection of the "Institut de Ciències del Mar", Spain. - To study of parasitoid life-cycle on settling chambers and observation under a Leica-Leitz DMIRB inverted microscope (Leica Microsystems GmbH, Wetzlar, Germany).- To test the susceptibility of dinoflagellates strains belonging to Dinophyta division to parasitoid infection.
