Coloring comics. Involves emulating the coloring style of the comic creator and adapting the style depending on lighting, tone, and intended effect. Follows a style guide / notes that are given with every assignment for a weekly turnaround. There is minimal oversight and it is largely self-driven work with the freedom to design characters and settings as the comic creator decides.

Facilitating community engagement via consistent scheduling and the neighborhood’s interest as well as identifying what appeals to my targetted audience in terms of imagery and content. Requires an understanding of optimal methods to best use each site’s algorithm [Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter]Multimedia use [Video, Design, Illustration, Photography] and strong communication with board members to plan social media events, document community events, and give timely, importantinformation to the community. Largely independent and self-managed work with little oversight. Use and knowledge of Wordpress to update the Allentown Association’s site with news, updates, and events and directing traffic to the site via social media.

Commission-based, personal-use illustrations with the utilization of social media to advertise. My work ranges from comics, character design, and other personal-use content. Maintaining a schedule to ensure items are presented to clients within the given time frame and having a clear Terms of Service. Constant communication to ensure the client’s needs are met and my terms of service are adhered to throughout the process. Ability to refine based on feedback and provide multiple different solutions rather than only providing one that may not be the commissioner’s vision.
