Responsibilities:• Functional testing of web, mobile (Android and iOS) and desktop (Windows) applications;• Creating and running test cases (TestRail)• Reporting issues in an issue-tracking system (Jira, BugNET, Trello);• API testing (Postman, JMeter, SoapUI);• Enriching/clarifying the project documentation when needed (Confluence);• Taking part in project meetings as set in Agile methodologies.

Technical Writer:• Providing an online help system for our customers (in English);• Preparing a printed version of the User’s Guide;• Writing internal technical documentation to help the company’s R&D, Sales and Support teams as well as training materials for our trainers;• Create developer guides for the API we provided;• As my knowledge of the system got deeper, I also did e-mail customer support and training;• As our product was rewritten from scratch, I actively took part in the design and specification of the new version.QA specialist:• Creating test cases for our products;• Running test VoIP calls with a call simulation tool and check if they are properly authenticated, authorized and billed;• Scripts for automatic GUI tests;• Investigating the bugs’ causes and suggest solutions;• Suggesting workaround for problems that cannot be solved immediately by developers.• Working with help authoring tools, such as RoboHelp and Help&Manual;• Ability to self-educate;• Working with image processing tools, such as ScreenHunter, GIMP and others needed to create appealing documents and screenshots;• Developed my ability to explain clearly yet in detail how to work with the billing system• Test and analyze the software behavior;• Clearly describe and report bugs into a bug-tracking system (Jira, Bugzilla);• I also became familiar with tools for automatic GUI testing, such as Sahi. Having programming-related education, I could write test scripts in the tool-specific language; • To be more effective in testing data input and extraction, I developed some SQL query skills;• Deeper understanding of XML and DTD.
