Master thesis research for appropriate substrates in RF applications. Searching for the best porous silicon structure on standard resistivity p-type wafers in order to lower RF losses.

The basic field of work is related to organic flexible electronicsutilizing graphene and graphene oxide. The case study is predicted to bethe fabrication of flexible and durable superconductors using graphene andelectrospun conductive polymers as electrode materials.In previous works, composites of conductive polymers, such as polyaniline,poly(3,4 ethylenedioxythiophene) and polypyrrole, and graphene-basednanosheets or graphene paper were successfully prepared by in situchemical or electrochemical polymerization, covalent or noncovalentfunctionalization, and self-assembly. Our work will be related toprocessing of electrospun polyaniline with neat commercial graphene oxideand its subsequent reduction in order to secure maximal restacking ofgraphene and entanglement with nanofibrous polyaniline. Electrospinningparameters, graphene content and functionalization is studied inorder to yield composite films for supercapacitor electrodes with highcapacitance, cycling stability, mechanical integrity and flexibility.

The project was comparing two materials for pressure gauges, with diamond anvil cell (DAC). The essence of this project was to find a material that will not have a temperature dependence while exposed to large pressures. Hydrostaticity is one of the main conditions in order not to change properties due to hight sensitivity of certain materials used in this area. Entire pressure measurements, gas loading, data processing were conducted in ESRF,Grenoble. The materials were then compared, certain data was extracted and analyzed.

Was involved in the research of replacement materials for parts under high pressures and thermal stress used in the largest thermal plant in southeastern Europe.

Was involved in the design and development of electro-mechanical components for a new product. Assisted in the technical support department in troubleshooting products returns.
