Inquiring different information of management and others to gain an understanding of the organization itself, its operations, financial reporting, and known fraud or error. Being focused on the financial accounts or risks associated with finance and are appointed by the company owners/shareholders. Performing the annual statutory audit of the financial accounts,examining and evaluating internal controls put in place to manage the risks which could affect the financial accounts, to determine if they are working as intended.+ Evaluating and understanding the internal control system+ Understanding the Entity and Its Environment+ Performing analytical procedures on expected or unexpected variances in account balances or classes of transactions+ Testing documentation supporting account balances or classes of transactions+ Observing the physical inventory count+ Confirming accounts receivable and other accounts with a third party

Duties mostly include but are not limited to: -analyzing and investigating annual and monthly financial accounts; -preparing reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements; -financial forecasting and risk analysis; -liaising with managerial staff, colleagues, clients and public/ official administrations; -negotiating business terms with clients and associated organizations; -developing and managing financial systems/policies; -controlling income and expenditure; -in-depth analysis of current legislation and regulations; -ensuring compliance with taxation legislation.Although the job is known to be office-based, it is often required to visit clients premises(office,warehouse, etc.) and respectively work with many different teams and liaising with both directors and official administrations.
