This role was created and offered to me to facilitate the growth in the company and further expansion into the Australian retail market. The role primarily involves liaising with existing key Australian accounts as well as new business opportunities to determine their requirements of the Infinity system, website and associated products. Liaise with clients in requirements-gathering workshops, gather user-stories and translate into detailed functional specifications. Facilitate and lead discovery workshops with new or existing customers. Contribute to the functional design and architecture of the Infinity system. Testing and QA of releases/sprints where required. Assist sales department with sales presentations and demonstrations where required. Facilitate training workshops for Infinity end users and internal staff. Working in a predominantly Agile project environment with both onshore and offshore developers.

Contracted by the parent company after my employment with the UK division to manage the production of an automated test suite for the core system. The task was to manage the production of an automated process that would fully test new beta versions of the core product before they were released to the general market. The goal of the initial contract phase was to replace the existing manual testing process and reduce the overall testing time required to complete the tasks, thus reducing cost in doing so. The second phase of the contract was to create and implement the test strategy for the migration of the core RMS product into a Cloud solution Defined existing process and the extent of manual testing on new releases Created testing plan based on findings and estimates on time required to produce a thorough test suite Worked closely with the test department to ensure expectations of the test suite met requirements. Managed the test team to produce the required test suite to specification Produced weekly progress reports to management and produced relevant testing guides Successful reduction in core testing from existing 4 days to 1 day end-to-end testing, realising significant cost savings within the test department. Migration of the core Infinity product into a workable Cloud solution that could be offered to customers as an alternative, cutting-edge solution.

As the company grew and the client base became more extensive the company project team grew resulting in promotion within this team. This was a switch role – PM and BA, depending on the project and which partner was managing the project – some preferred business partners would manage their own projects with TQUK being a main supplier to the project. Worked with business and end-users to develop and implement suitable business solutions. Initiated and ran client meetings – via onsite and remote communications. Requirements gathering and translation into detailed functional specifications – utilising both core and bespoke modular software Liaised with preferred suppliers and negotiated terms of supply to the project on behalf of clients. Managed small to medium-sized projects, and within projects as a main supplier to a preferred partners’ project. Directly managed a number of business projects within budget and on time in most cases.  Involved in large rollouts of over 100+ stores and oversaw a number of successful pilot projects Utilisation of both in-house and Prince2 methodologies as and when required.

Alliance Unichem (later Boots) was a large pharmaceutical company, with their core focus on community pharmacies. The initial role was as part of a large team of trainers rolling out a new EPOS system to their 900 nationwide stores. Post-rollout this role later changed to a head-office based job tasked with supporting field trainers and customer (store) relations. Additionally there was the management of supplier activities where necessary and frequent reporting of trainer activities to the project team. Retained on the core systems team to assist with further training and support to stores once the main project concluded.
