MART Gallery & Studios is an arts organisation based in Dublin founded in 2007. A leading advocate for the arts by providing sustainable creative art studios in several buildings across Ireland and to promote contemporary visual art through an engaging curatorial programme in two art galleries in Dublin and an exciting international program.As a Director, I oversee the running of MART; a visual arts organisation providing Studios, Galleries & Events to foster and promote artistic endeavours. Working alongside Ciara Scanlan and our vibrant team, this includes managing hundreds of artist studios, curation of a Dublin Gallery & international exhibition programme. Through MART I have supported hundreds of artists through artists workspace and curated exhibitions, events, festivals and art fairs across Ireland, UK, Europe, USA & Japan, and since 2012 have co-programmed MART’s contemporary art galleries. - Leadership: Provide oversight on the strategic planning, financial stability, fund development, programming, marketing, community engagement and staff and volunteer management of the organisation.- Strategic Planning: Develop the organisation’s budgets, strategic and development plans for ensuring the long-term financial and structural sustainability.- Program Strategy: Deliver memorable experiences for audiences through a multidisciplinary artistic program.- Management: Ensure MART staff, program artists and studio members are supported, enabling a strong sense of community and provision for a sustainable studio network and exciting artistic program.- Advocacy: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, institutional partners and councils.- Standards: Ensures the organisations studios, galleries and projects are provided to the highest standard.- Fundraising: Securing large grants. Review and evaluate proposals and associated budgets for programs and events, prepare annual government grants, and develop and manage the annual budget.

CIACLA is a non profit 501(c)(3) arts organisation that promotes Contemporary Irish Culture and supports local communities in Los Angeles through a multidisciplinary diverse programme in collaboration with local and international cultural partnerships. As the Executive Director of CIACLA – The Contemporary Irish Arts Center Los Angeles, I oversee the programming, fundraising and administration of organisation. I manage the team, volunteers and advisors. I curate high quality multidisciplinary arts programming, manage local and international artists and partnerships and ensure the sustainability and longevity of the organisation. My key responsibilities include: - Strategic Planning – developing and implements the organization’s Strategic Plan- Program Development and Management – developing, implementing a multidisciplinary program.- Fund Development/Grant Oversight and Fiscal Management – Securing large grants, together with the Team & Board, developing and managing the fundraising and financial strategies of the organization;- Staff Leadership & Management – hiring, motivating, developing the team, volunteers and board of advisors.- Community Relations – developing effective working relationships within the arts community and audience.- Advocacy - serving as the chief spokesperson for organisation; articulating and communicating the services, value and needs of the organisation - Standards: Conducting all business at the highest standard, ensuring that all activities are legal and ethical.
