The system runs our own original algorithm, tested in thousands of flights. The system uses smartphone grade sensors to get highest level of data at a ridiculous price tag. Each unit undergoes individual calibration process in which all axes and cross-axes sensitivities are measured and corrected. The capability to provide reliable attitude and heading data without GPS assistance is unique for a low cost product.The system has been used in a closed loop wind tunnel test, in which it sensed model rotation, run control code and dynamically stabilized it in the test cell. The operator got real time wireless telemetry and issued control commands, thus saving tunnel cycles.
