Design Lead for utility diversions in the HS2 central area. Managing and undertaking utility design as part of multi-disciplined designs in complex programme critical areas.

HS2 Fusion JV - Construction of a 1 mile road and associated drainage/utilities through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Managing subcontractor compliance against design, contract, quality and safety. Reviewing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s). Resolving design issues and ensuring works meet the project and highways specifications.

Working on a range of airfield construction projects, typically including pavement construction and the installation of associated services. Responsibilities include leading teams of engineers, producing resourced works programmes and planning tasks, managing subcontractors, producing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), writing Inspection & Test Plans (ITP's) and managing changes to the design & scope.

Working on-site on infrastructure construction projects in a live airfield environment at Heathrow Airport.

Design secondment to Atkins aviation team to work on a range of airfield design projects. Experience included pavement design, production of technical reports on airfield design schemes and reviewing compliance of aerodromes to international standards.
