I have been employed in the Real Estate Settlement (Escrow) Industry since 1990. My journey started after a successful career in Telecommunications where my last position held before joining the family business was with Siemens as a Western Region Telecom Manager.I am actively involved in the community and gives of my time by serving on the Foundation Board of Directors of College of the Canyons as the immediate past President of the Foundation Board of Directors, Chair of the First Year Promise campaign, member of the Wine Studies and building capital campaign for the Institute for Culinary Arts, member of the Chancellors Circle and Patrons of the Arts committee. In addition, I also serve on the Advisory Boards of the WiSH Education Foundation and iLEAD Santa Clarita Charter School Foundation. In the past, I have served on the Boards of Campus After Dark and Single Mothers Outreach, as President of the Santa Clarita Valley Escrow Association, and I am currently an affiliate member of the Southland Association of Realtors, Escrow Institute of California and California Escrow Association. In 1991 I became a member of the Rotary Club of Santa Clarita Valley and have served in the capacities of Club Secretary, Club Service Chair and as the 2013-2014 Club President, earning the Distinguished Club award which is the highest honor a club can receive in a district of over 40 active clubs. I am proud to be a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International.As a member of Vistage International since 2006, I credit the organization with providing me the guidance and tools needed to be a better leader, making better decisions, and creating better results. I live in Valencia and have been married to my wife, Carla, since 1994 and we have a wonderful daughter, Chelsea, who is a 3rd generation employee in the family business as an Escrow Opening Specialist.
