ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop, enhance, and maintain .net Windows, web, and web service applications using the following tools: o Visual Studio latest version (C#) with Team Foundation Server, Git o SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, merge replication, heavy use of Stored Procedures, database modifications, SQL Server jobs, backups, data exports and imports o SQL Server Reporting Services o IIS latest version o Html5, XML, JSON, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, CSS, SOAP• Build complex SQL queries and reports for use across the entire organization• Implement projects and initiatives, build specs, plan and implement, test and deploy• Work with third-parties to integrate applications and data (web services, fulfillment houses, online learning, email services, etc.)• Manage integration with merchant services, both using the API to execute transactions as well as batch processing into internal accounting systems• Support staff and other constituencies with any IT/technical needs, with a focus on website, in-house applications, and database• Troubleshoot and solve specific issues reported via customer support and staff• Support the WordPress website, especially integration with user authentication and secure areas, as well as interactions with applications and database• Support third-party software and databases used in-house, especially when they overlap with home-grown applications/database• Create documentation, train staff, and assist them in using all systems and applications so they can best perform their job functions• Augment the skill sets of staff in areas of project management, process planning, use-case analysis, workflows, multi-system collaboration, etc.• Take proactive measures to maintain the security of our systems, including custom monitoring and notification applications• Ensure sustainability by upgrading tools and environment for development, database, hosting, etc.
