Responsible for all Information Systems at BASIS Educational Ventures, the parent company of the BASIS Curriculum Schools network. Key highlights: establishing a robust data analysis practice around Tableau and a comprehensive API integration layer, establishing a robust service desk and project management practice around Jira and Confluence, establishing a robust agile software development team.

• Responsible for IBM’s services division major push into developing and delivering software used to run our strategic outsourcing business as collections of managed services (SaaS) inside the Cloud. This is a major transformative play, generating huge savings and efficiencies for IBM and our clients as we retire antiquated Waterfall develop & deploy methodologies. Job entails high degree of strategic discussions with senior IBM executives (Senior VP level), as well as ground level discussions securing all stakeholder agreements. In one area alone, relating to server operations, one program moving to DevOps SaaS based modeling is saving our company over $8 million in cost. Team size under my direct management is 4 departments of developers, testers, deployment specialists, and project managers, totaling well over 100 personnel.• Responsible for developing & deploying a technology offering which improves customer security, their risk posture, and regulatory compliance within their IT operations. Solution is built upon IBM Security Systems product offerings. Solution is currently being deployed to all of IBM’s HIPAA and FFIEC regulated customers, and many customers in Asia Pacific. Daily duties require a high degree of interlock and collaboration across 3 divisions within IBM, in order to achieve common goals including: coordination of requirements found in our Strategic Outsourced customer base back into product development; negotiating delivery dates, pricing, and licensing concessions; developing a strategic roadmap for subsequent releases; creating sales & marketing material to expand the offering worldwide. Job requires a very large amount of executive interactions (commonly at the VP and GM levels). Budget: $6.5 million (Develop & Deploy 2013). • Responsible for development and deployment of an enterprise single sign on and identity/access management automation solution for IBM employees.
