I ran the Pediatric Advisory meetings and guided policies including: Neonatal hypoglycemia protocols and algorithms, high flow oxygen use on the pediatric floor, illicit maternal drug use screening during the neonatal period. I represented the department of pediatrics during the medical executive meetings at the hospital. I reviewed outlier cases involving pediatricians of the medical staff, and aided in educating them when mistakes were made. I was involved in administrating privileges for doctors and nurse practitioners when they applied to practice at the hospital.

Made rounds in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Attended deliveries, performed procedures such as intubation, umbilical catheterization, and surfactant administration. Saved babies.

Full time outpatient pediatrician and covered the hospital for neonatal and emergency care.
