Worked in Service, Production, Support, and Sales during the formative years of my career. Gained a wealth of practical knowledge from senior co-workers, while helping customers find the best value in new and used computers and peripherals as well as helping solve their problems and improving their experience. A-Z in its heyday was as good a one-stop-shop as there ever was. We built and sold new PCs, bought/sold/traded used ones, repaired everything from Apple to Zenith, and started a local/regional ISP that climbed to 10,000 subscribers in less than a year and never looked back until well after the broadband boom.I was the senior employee when the store closed, following some poor business decisions by the owner.
