Life Time Fitness acquired Athlinks and subsequently reorganized and rebranded the combined entity as Athlinks with over 150 employees and substantial revenues. I moved from managing operational software development to designing and building enterprise big data solutions to establish data-driven decision making and support data monetization to achieve exponential growth.

Life Time Fitness merged BazuSports with Chronotrack, an RFID timing systems provider for endurance sporting events in 2012, later adding Athlinks. During this period, I focused on scaling our scoring and registration platform technology from a few dozen races in 2012 to a few dozen races per weekend by 2015, timing over 250,000 athletes each weekend and growing our registration service by two orders of magnitude during the same period. We also developed a stable rest api used by several major timing software providers.

I co-founded this startup to provide live scoring, social messaging and registration software services for human endurance events (marathons, triathlons). I built the original technology and grew the tech team to a half dozen when we were acquired by Life Time Fitness, a large public fitness company, in 2012.

I co-founded this startup to develop one of the first online data management software services for pharmaceutical and biotech companies conducting human clinical trials. I grew the technology team to over a dozen, delivered a scalable product meeting strict Federal regulatory guidelines that was relied upon by dozens of companies engaged in expensive clinical trials, and helped grow annual revenue before selling my interest to my partners. The award-winning software my team developed, Prism, is still the flagship product of Nextrials today.
