The rural world has a lot of opportunities, or at least it is my great belief regarding the countryside, but this belief has not come from recently, but comes since ever.I come from peasant roots, even though I did not grow up in the countryside, I did share with family their achievements, but also limitations due to living in rural areas. That ignited something in me years later.I love the enterpreneurship, and that led me to study Finance and International Trade and Economics, options that I continue to profess and learn.My first pines in entrepreneurship was with my family business Grupo GEGO, a corporate fashion company that today I manage with my father (we are known as Vela Uniformes, you can visit us at https://velauniformes.com/).Despite my professional orientation towards rurality, it is the entrepreneurial heritage of my parents, and to be honest, I work with a lot of love and I enjoy it a lot!I also tried to sustain ventures in the consulting sector, rural and urban tourism, and although they did not take off, it was another school of learning from mistakes and good actions.As for my first laboral experiences, academic research and online education were the sectors in which I developed business and educational skills, and then I moved on to applied research.At that time the light of rurality was lit, I began my studies as a Master in Agribusiness, and I understood that my professional orientation would go to help small and medium rural enterprises, and to support the producer and peasant who wants to strengthen their rural business.As if life gave opportunities to those who seek them, after graduating from my master's degree, I ventured as a rural business consultant, where I generated several consultancies in the areas of digital agromarketing and rural sales.Then, I had the opportunity to be a director in a fintech that supports rural projects, in addition to being a university research professor and director in a Colombian association with a long history.I returned to strategic consulting for rural companies, also I give guidelines for training in digital education for rural areas, and I establish the strategy of Ualanday Escuela Rural Digital, the project where we contribute to generate new growth opportunities for rural businesses with digital programs and training.If you have come this far, ¡thanks you for your time and interest!
