Design and develop geometrical modeling infrastructure API for a complex Oil Exploration Software system – Decision Space (DS). Added multiple features to the 3D grid layer of the API which is used for oil flow simulation. Added 3D stencil feature for isolating areas of the model by specifying a polygon in 2D space and creating a “Cookie Cutter” entity to cut out the needed volume of the 3D model. Enhanced multiple algorithms in the process flow of the 3D model. Worked on a variety of bugs reported by the testers as well as customers. Used strict process of coding practices and source verification and control. Wrote unit and regression tests to validate changes and bug fixes.
