As a consultant, Ney was tasked with branding, designing, and marketing Duran’s newest restaurant, VENTANAS. His design influence spanned logos, menus, décor, uniforms, and even the manner in which guests are greeted. The resulting gorgeous, star-reviewed restaurant is now one of New Jersey’s hottest spots, bustling by day and a packed club at night. Ney then rebranded Son Cubano – Duran’s first restaurant – injecting new energy while honoring its original, glamorous modern-Cuban concept. Consequently, both restaurants, though distinct, share a dynamic charisma typically found only in the world's most vibrant cities.When establishing his executive team for Duran Entities – an umbrella company that includes the two restaurants, a third in development, two top-rated daycare centers (one specializing in occupational therapy), new projects, and a consulting branch for the hospitality industry – Duran invited Ney to join full-time as the company's Creative Director. In this role, Ney oversees branding, design, and marketing.Ney will continue to draw on the Latin and hip-hop influences of his youth, his urban edginess, and his knack for anticipating the next chic trend to keep Son Cubano, VENTANAS, and the upcoming Soláz Restaurant + Full Swing Golf Suites vibrant and on the cutting edge.
