I am Noor Fakih, currently Curriculum Lead at Hands-On Tech Education. I recently graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and am pursuing a M.S. in Computer Science. My well-rounded background includes working in software and hardware engineering, research, mentoring, communication, and community development. My latest industry experience was interning for two years at General Motors where I worked on the Hummer EV’s launch and then GM Ultra Cruise. I have also managed a 55-person Queer-themed cooperative-style dorm on Stanford's campus, where I fostered a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and mutual support for 3 years.Born and raised in the Detroit Metro area, I have a passion for developing applications and products that benefit my community and yours. I envision myself helping a company innovate community-building tools that encourage and create intentional community living practices. I am adaptable, eager to learn, and proficient in user research and experience design. In my free time, I enjoy coffee with friends, playing on my Switch, and crocheting toys with my younger siblings. I would love to connect with you and explore opportunities to work together.
