• Supervised a team of manufacturing engineers and interns• Interviewed and hired manufacturing engineers • Acted as manufacturing engineer for several projects

• Created manufacturing process instructions (MPI) and testing process instructions (TPI) for several diverse projects (wearable health monitor, DNA synthesizer, teleconferencing device, deep tissue massager, etc.).• Performed design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) analysis to help transition products from NPI to mass-production.• Designed fixtures (often 3D-printed) to help with soldering and mechanical assembly processes.• Debugged test equipment and failed units for several "box build" projects (dental lasers, video broadcasting devices, 3D printers, etc.).• Reviewed and revised BOMs for customers to correct errors and reflect recent changes.• Often interacted with the AQS team in China to provide part feedback, first article inspections, etc.

• Designed a low-cost sanitization chamber and clean room for use by AQS. • Designed “blanking panels” to be used for server racks.
