I am currently working full-time at Austral Fisheries as an Export Marketing Clerk My previous role was at Ozgene as an Administrator of Strategic Partnering, which includes roles in sales, shipping and other areas. I have a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and with a secondary focus on Management, from the University of Western Australia. I also work part-time, including positions I have held whilst studying such as roles as a coach for both rowing and cross country and a role as a bar attendant for functions held at Swan River Rowing Club (SRRC). I also hold two volunteer roles as Vice-Captain (Boats) at SRRC and Co-Captain of a Cottesloe Surf Lifesaving (CSLS) Beach Patrol. As Vice-Captain (Boats) I am responsible for the fleet management and conduct of repairs and maintenance of the club’s fleet of boats. I have capitalized on the skills gained in my volunteer role to establish a small repairs business as a sole trader. This has taught me skills in useful areas such as finance, invoicing, handling of clients, word of mouth marketing, project management and other general business skills.
