Jun Kiat is a 3rd-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Advanced Computing (Honours) at the Australian National University. Jun Kiat strives to be a multifaceted individual, competent in both technical and people skills. During his time as a high school student, he was heavily involved with co-curricular activities which have helped him develop leadership skills and proficiencies in areas such as administration and logistics management. In the military, he received several accolades namely the Sword of Merit Award as an Officer Cadet and the Platoon Best Recruit Award during his Basic Military Training. He was also offered the SAF Merit Scholarship to pursue his studies overseas. As a computing student, Jun Kiat aims to develop his technical knowledge, project management skills, and interpersonal skills. Outside of the curriculum, he has also completed online courses to upgrade his competency in the fields of data analytics and information systems. He is also proficient in Java programming and data analytics with Python. In his free time, Jun Kiat is always looking to learn new skills. In high school, he spent his time volunteering for causes related to youth and children and developed interests such as Lion Dance, camping, and soccer.
