Catherine Karnow is a San Francisco-based National Geographic photographer who has been shooting since 1986. She is well-known for General Giap's famous portrait named 'Snow-covered volcano'.- Produced six upscale photo workshops for group of 10-12 VIP clients from 10+ countries in Vietnam, Cambodia and South India including scouting, managing logistics, hotel and restaurant inspections, travel arrangements, budget management, communication with contractors, etc.- Established and maintained effective working relationships with workshop contacts including diplomats, CEOs, journalists etc.- Facilitated visits, donations and photo shoots of Agent Orange victims, landmine survivors, craftswomen groups, etc. - Resolved problems as arise during workshops without interrupting schedule.

- In charge of the book sales in Vietnam including receiving data and reporting- Responsible for advertising the book in Vietnam and expanding the number of bookstores to carry the book

Four Paws International is a global animal welfare organization based in Vienna, Austria. I am involved in campaigns fighting against Cat Meat Trade (CMT) in Vietnam,- Played a key role as an undercover investigator in a team of two for a major report on CMT at multiple locations in Vietnam in 2019 together with Tracks Investigations (UK). The report helped to collect a million signatures to end the Dog Cat Meat Trade in Vietnam.- Produced interview video footage for CMT campaign in 2020 that was displayed on large billboards, buses and taxis all over Vietnam.- Successfully led and coordinated a rescue trip of 20 cats and 5 dogs from a dog cat meat restaurant in Thai Binh in 2020. Facilitated a business conversion for the restaurant owner to successfully transition from animal trade. The success of the conversion was widely shared on the media in Vietnam with over 15 million views.- Successfully coordinated a logistical planning for 8 of those rescued cats to travel domestically and internationally from Vietnam to the US for adoption in the midst of the global pandemic and challenging travel restrictions. My work was an important link in the project that involved multiple partner organizations in Vietnam and the US. - Currently implementing a series of activities under the Minutes of Understanding signed between Hoi An People's Committee and Four Paws International in December 2021 to help Hoi An become the first dog cat meat-free city in Vietnam.
