Substitute teaching in Geneva, Illinois is a wonderful experience and I am happy to have had the chance to test and further develop my classroom management and teaching skills while also gaining invaluable feedback from coworkers, teachers, and administrators.

An amazing experience and culmination of not just a two year masters program, but a life-long dream to transition into full=time teaching. I am grateful for the opportunity to have tested and refined my skills facilitating student development and growth. My experienced and exceptional cooperating teacher lent considerable wisdom and guidance to aid my own continued growth as a reflective teacher and to strengthen my classroom management, student and family relations, understanding and application of assessments, as well as student motivation to excel.The onset of Covd-19 adaptations to online instruction also provided outstanding opportunities to test out e-learning, remote meetings, online interactions and a variety of applications and means of communication that might not have ever been explored otherwise. Some of these tools provide an excellent way to enhance a classroom, engage students, and enhance learning even after regular classrooms resume.

This was a hobby and supplemental income that transitioned into full time work. This self-employment involved maintaining continuous relationships with clients, seeking and offering feedback, relaying an exceptional commitment to service and quality, and offering viable and credible solutions. I have completed numerous remodeling and construction rehab projects from simple roofing to gutting and remodeling entire bathrooms. I continue this work as a part-time hobby and small business today during breaks and time off.

Managing high volume accounts meant constant communication and responsiveness to client needs. There was significant processing while managing international shipments involving multiple means of transport, customs, and specialized needs. This was a fast paced environment with an exceptional group of people.

I was responsible for design and presentation, sales goals, scheduling, inventory, audits, guest service, product planning, morale and discipline, communication and development. I began in Alexandria, MN and moved twice, taking on greater responsibilities each time. I managed a department that plans and provides all the products for kitchen remodeling, working closely with clients to match their vision and budget with full designs, plans and products.

I pursued clients in a large territory throughout the central and southern states. I was responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of relationships; accurate, ethical loan qualification, submission, follow-up, and solution finding. Encore closed in 2007.

I was responsible for account acquisition, development and growth for the sale and value added service of data storage systems and solutions. We focused on the mid-west states. As a smaller company our responsibilities in sales were from start to finish so we worked equally with vendors to ensure timely product arrival and accurate orders, in-house technicians who would assemble, install and test end products, our clients to ensure they were up to date on expectations, satisfied and continually updated and aware that we were always seeking any other available business opportunities. Consan was purchased by Gates/Arrow in 2003 and the main office was integrated while remote offices were closed.
