About Chiew Peng Ng

I am a B.Eng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering undergraduate, with leadership experiences in both academic and interests roles (SIT-TUM SMC & SIT Breakers), whereby the iChemE Singapore Book Prize 2023 was awarded due to the contribution to the chemical engineering industry. My area of interest in the field of chemical engineering would be process control engineering and automation engineering particularly in the oil and gas industry.Previous internship experiences from Sembcorp Pte. Ltd and Air Liquide Singapore Pte. Ltd. equipped me with skills such as DCS interface editing, Power BI, and AutoCAD. These skills were applied to various projects and jobs and were planned to be further studied and licensed in the future. Other skills that were picked up in other places are Microsoft Office, CoDeSys, Honeywell UNISIM and Google apps.

- Editing of P&ID and DCS illustrations or interface to ensure that the diagram aligns with the plant's setup, while ensuring the visibility of the illustrations were clear. - Created and published 3 new P&ID drawings based on plant's setup, hence improving the efficiency in tag locating.- Compilation of P&ID and tag list based on latest update dates, changes and their description. This had increased the efficiency of locating tags based on the latest updates required by reducing the time required to find the tag from each individual pages. Changelog were kept to ensure that the details were up to date.- Collated and created list of missing tags from the plant and provided description to critical valves by using Google Sheets.
