As the Assistant Director of Physical Security with the Chicago Cubs, I oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of security operations and procedures for the Chicago Cubs and their facilities. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of staff, players, and fans, as well as manage risks and respond to emergencies.I have a passion for and strong background in security and safety management. Prior to joining the Chicago Cubs, I spent six years in the public sector. Most recently I was the Student Safety Center Manager at Chicago Public Schools, where I led a team of 11 full time employees and coordinated with school administrators, law enforcement, and community partners to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for over 300,000 students. I am skilled and certified in conflict de-escalation, investigations, interviews, risk and crisis management, and program management. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Loyola University Chicago, where I learned the theoretical and practical aspects of crime prevention and social justice.
