Greetings Everyone,Ding Xiang is an Electrical Engineer working at ExxonMobil (EM) Singapore.In his role, Ding Xiang focuses on optimizing long-term equipment strategies, which encompass identifying and assessing safety, health, and environmental considerations, as well as managing electrical risks. He oversees the electrical power supply and distribution within the refinery, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Jurong Refinery business units and various projects.Ding Xiang also brings technical expertise to the implementation of both existing and new technologies, leveraging innovative and cost-effective solutions.A firm believer in lifelong learning, Ding Xiang has recently completed his master's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). He has successfully passed the Fundamental Engineering Examination (Electrical Engineering) and is on track to becoming a Professional Engineer (PE) by the end of the decade.Outside of his professional responsibilities, Ding Xiang serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Admiralty Youth Network (AYN) 10th Executive Committee from 2024 to 2025. He previously served as the Chairman from 2020 to 2021.Under his leadership leader, he guided the committee through the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, actively engaging and connecting with youths and the community online. He successfully grew the committee from a team fewer than 20 Grassroot Leaders (GRLs) to a diverse and capable team of 40 GRLs.In his spare time, Ding Xiang enjoys the great outdoors through sports and hiking, and he actively volunteers within the local community. He maintains strong interests in data science and entrepreneurship and hopes to become more involved in these fields.
