About Nghi Nguyen

I joined AnaptysBio as its VP of Corporate Development from Medkine and Ascendis Pharma where I was Head of Corporate Development and Head of BD and Alliance Management, respectively. Prior to Ascendis, I supported Corporate Development under Jung Choi at Global Blood Therapeutics (acquired by Pfizer for $5.4B) for almost five years. Before moving in-house, I spent some time in healthcare investment banking at Wedbush Securities and gained investing and operating experience at The L’Oreal Group in its Global Technology Incubator.I was trained as a scientist. From 2004 to 2010, I worked in six different laboratories, received research fellowships from Amgen and The Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and published in peer-reviewed journals, including Science.Publicly announced deals:-$50M royalty monetization with Sagard Healthcare for additional Jemperli royalties (2024)-License agreement with Centessa for BDCA2 modulator portfolio (2023)-Equity investment in VISEN as part of its $150M Series B financing (2021)-Exclusive distribution agreement with Biopharma-MEA for Oxbryta® in GCC region (2020)-$375M research collaboration and option and license agreement with Syros (2019)-$127M license agreement with Roche for inclacumab (2018)-$303M option and license agreement with CrystalGenomics for CG'806 (2016)-Academic research collaboration agreement with Moffitt Cancer Center for epigenetic inhibitors (2015)-Drug discovery partnership with Laxai Avanti Life Sciences for epigenetic inhibitors (2015)
