Turnaround consultancy to the Directors of a preeminent Australian Arts company in the aftermath of the company entering Voluntary Administration. Supported the Directors of the company with crisis management, PR, financial turnaround and restructuring advice and services. Assisted in the securing of donor funding, negotiations with grant/funding bodies as well as the development of turnaround plan and revised artistic and administrative operating model. Secured agreement for the return the Company to the control of the Directors and recruited the steady state leadership team.

Professional singer, performing regularly across Australia, Nick was part of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra Choir and a featured soloist from 2013 until leaving Australia in 2019. Nick performed across a range of concert programs as well as numerous live broadcasts and CD recordings.

Access to efficient, and effective administrative services are vital for the smooth and cost effective running of a complex higher education organisation. At Sydney I identified the need for, and then led the work to simplify the experience of our students and staff, creating a common service approach across our administrative capability, and a foundational Shared Service to enable the rationalisation of 116 discrete service contact points.

The University of Sydney is a globally recognised leader in tertiary education and research, with over 70,000 students and 9000 staff while I was there. During my tenure I was responsible for the management, development and implementation of all technology services in the University, leading a team of 190 service delivery and engineering technology professionals supporting the University's academic endeavors across 16 sites in Australia and a broad range of international endeavours.
