The foundation provides conditional grants of up to US$1.5M, which can cover up to 50% of the cost of a joint R&D project. The grant does not require equity, and repayment is only due upon sales (5% of the sales of the product that was developed with the grant’s support). The foundation promotes collaborations in virtually every area that can show significant innovation and demonstrate commercial potential.
