PI: Meg Urry; Mentor: Aritra Ghosh- Developed DRAGON, a CNN capable of distinguishing between dual AGN and galaxy mergers at redshifts z < 1.59.- Engineered a distributed computing infrastructure for large-scale model training and inference, efficiently multiplexing hundreds of simultaneous runs.

PI: Mark Gerstein; Mentor: Robert Xiangru Tang- Designed a multi-turn medical question and answer dataset based upon CDialog and MeDiaQA to train GPT-3.5 models that simulate patient-doctor interactions.- Implemented web-scraping algorithms to traverse and extract r/AskDocs comment threads between doctor and patient.- Collaborated with senior researchers from the Amazon AWS department to devise new metrics for dataset analysis.

- Oversee Guild finances in close collaboration with the Yale President’s Office and the Yale University financial office. - Work with Guild to execute annual budget + expense reports for operations and North American/European tours.

• Designed a Next.js member-only website used by over 110+ active club members.• Single-handedly engineered backend with robust security practices, including the CAS (OAuth-like) authentication system, ensuring privacy of user data.• Developed RESTful APIs to auto-update user information, handle equipment borrowing and eCommerce, and log semesterly dues.• Designed a robust React frontend (UI/UX) which has received positive feedback from club members.• Collaborate with 10+ board members & media/developer team to publicize website and translate team member visions to functional technologies.
