I was born in Johor, Malaysia, to a Taiwanese mother and a Malaysian father. I’m currently an undergraduate student studying in the Bachelor of Mass Communication, majoring in journalism and public relations at the University of Newcastle. I'm interested to become a public relations practitioner or event planner.On Aug 2014, I was studied in Diploma in Mass Communication at INTI International College Subang. On Jan 2016, I got an internship at Shiroku Production, a production company based in Kuala Lumpur. The internship offered me a three months of practical experiences in the film industry. On Aug 2017, I continued my Degree at University of Newcastle, Singapore after I graduated from Diploma.My concentration in public relations and journalism has prepared me well for the specific field through life experience as well as college courses such as public relations campaign, public relations strategy, journalism/feature/public relations writing, multimedia publications and video journalism. My practical experiences in Diploma, Internship and Degree has developed a number of skills including writing skills, presentation skills, interviewing skills, communication skills, organizational skills, filming skills and broadcasting skills.I have conducted my internship before. As a result, I not only have strong academic preparation, but I have a great deal of work experience that reinforced and informed my class work. My real world work experience has strengthened my work ethic by putting me in challenging situations, which developed skills such as credibility, multitasking, and problem solving along with the ability to be successful in independent; cohesive personality with co-workers; develop strong verbal and communications skills; to be organized and punctual; and attentive to detail.I speak three languages, namely English, Chinese and Malay, and I’m proficient in IT skills such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro.
