• Worked with mental health researchers to develop easier solutions for data collection and submission for CAMH’s Access database using Visual Basic which erased a lot of human error that existed in previous pen and paper methods• Recreated lengthy rTMS screening forms in REDCap with working conditional logic so staff could conduct evaluations digitally without the need to manually input their data afterwards• Created automated scripts using Python that retrieved data from the REDCap API and reformatted unreadable and inconsistent spreadsheet data into manageable data for clinical researchers• Participated in Brainhack Global, a neuroscience themed Hackathon, by creating Jupyter notebooks for a presentation on blood-oxygen-dependent-imaging (BOLD)

• Implemented UI changes using the MAMP stack for Rogers’ broadcast websites such as Omni Television, Cityline, and Breakfast Television to display new events and shows• Analyzed loading performance using automated Python scripts which ran tests with Google PageSpeed Insights and instantly saved the results in detailed reports• Ensured correct image sizes were retrieved from the Akamai CDN on mobile devices which led to users saving around 25% of their mobile data when browsing broadcast websites• Redesigned broken legacy elements with Bootstrap and Sass to eliminate out of place components that were exposed by larger monitor displays• Investigated strategies for maintaining design cohesion amongst websites which varied based on their local Canadian city by identifying and documenting differences in their PHP frontend code

• Automated the acceptance testing of an anti-money laundering web service using Python and the Robot Framework to verify that the frontend was functioning correctly• Developed automated scripts using Python and SQL to populate the mockup environment with realistic data for more accurate testing and demoing purposes • Wrote HTTP tests to verify the functionality of the backend API with SoapUI and Postman so that data driven tests were no longer reliant on the frontend• Stress tested the web service using Locust.io and the Selenium WebDriver to ensure the functionality of logging in and fuzzy searching were not impacted by a large volume of user inputs• Assisted in the planning and direction of workshops at the 2017 RBC Agile Symposium for hundreds of RBC IT workers
