Lead the Wells Technical Authority team overseeing Repsol’s Wells activities on a corporate scale, includes:Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance across assets in order to ensure that corporate technical standards, best industry practices, are followed consistently.Corporate Technical Standards: Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and technical specifications for Wells activities to ensure consistency and compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, safety and environmental practices and standards. Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends in different regions and integrate relevant regulations and standards as appropriate.Risk Management and Management of Change: Identify hazards, assess risks associated with well operations and develop effective mitigation strategies, taking into account local regulations, environmental conditions, and operational practices. Ultimately endorse for Management of Change.Technical Assurance: lead technical quality assurance reviews and audits of well designs, operational programs, and execution across all Wells projects to ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements.Training and Development: Develop and implement training and development programs for Wells staff to ensure consistency in competency levels across the organization.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with regulatory authorities, industry associations to influence regulatory developments. Support the lessons learned and internal knowledge transfer.Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response planning and provide technical support during well control incidents, ensuring consistency in response protocols and procedures across assets.Continuous Improvement: Manage and direct continuous improvement initiatives to enhance well engineering designs, optimize costs, and increase operational efficiency across all assets.

The responsibilities encompass providing expert guidance on all aspects of well completion, testing, and intervention activities. This includes developing corporate technical standards aligned with international technical, safety, and environmental practices. Duties also include supporting corporate competency assurance, training and career development programmes.- Validate information from analogous completions, restrictions and environmental considerations meet project specifications.- Validate completion design options and the design basis for chosen option, in accordance with established standards, safe practices, risk analysis, legislation and respect for the environment.- Validate and qualify technical specifications to support purchasing materials and services.- Validate that cost and timeframe estimations for well construction projects are carried out in accordance with established standards and advise on changes.- Independently review and validate completion and intervention program, as well as associated emergency-response plans.- Validate necessary actions for managing changes in the well construction project within their field of action.- Advise during troubleshooting events on well drilling activities as requested by the project team.- Act as SME for completions and interventions and required support to Local Teams.- Support knowledge transfer of lessons learned and best practices across Company.- Support QA/QC corporate audits, with proper resources for specific completions subjects.- Effectively utilize networks, experience, and external resources to advise team of risks, resource needs, risk management considerations, or key performance enhancement aspects in design and execution.- Support the management of the completions community to ensure appropriate development of staff and coordinate resourcing.- Support Local Teams during design and execution of Wells, including interpretation of standards and expert advice .

- Provide full technical assurance for completion engineering and operations to be executed in compliance with Company and Industry standards. - Provide management expertise in the project drivers, business objectives, and the importance of the performance and reliability of the completions to the overall success of the project. - Ensure that the project completion deliverables is structured, tracked and reported – both financially and technically.- Responsible for well completion design of development wells with tension leg platform (TLP) development concept. Includes:Conduct completion studies are used as key elements for completion basis of design i.e. artificial lift method assessment, sand prediction study, completion reliability, sand control selection and lower completion design, tubing metallurgy and tubing size selection, upper completion design and equipment selection, gaslift design, gas re‐injection, water injection study, tubing stress analysis, flow assurance.Coordinate with laboratories to perform all validation lab tests, i.e. the sand retention test, RDIF and breaker formulation & tests, water injection study.All technical deliverables contributed to the successful assessment by project gate peer review.- Completion interface with all relevant departments, facilities, subsurface, production - Responsible for Completion CAPEX and Well OPEX estimates for the project appraise, concept select and define phases.- Prepare detailed scope of work; support tender preparation; analyze and evaluate tender correspondences and make recommendations with regard to contract award.

- Perform engineering design and develop a program for rig-related operations, covering completion, workover, stimulation, and DST (Drill Stem Testing)- Coordinate; ensure proper offshore activities with formed program and minimized time and cost to achieve planned goals.- Work with engineers to build a task teams for new projects. Guide and involve other engineers to the technical solution and provide technical support.- Identify and promote new technologies to overcome experienced difficulties and meet operation requirements.- Provide technical support for gaslift related operations including gaslift design, gaslift troubleshooting, gaslift optimization, production optimization.- Initiate the definition and implementation for completion & intervention activities to ensure the well integrity is maintained in compliance with Company’s requirement.- Perform tubing size selection and metallurgy assessment.- Prepare tender or bid documents for selecting contractors. Define technical specification and provide technical evaluations for particular operation campaign.
