Tran-Ngoc-Phu Nguyen graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in Vietnam in 2009. After his graduation, he received a scholarship to study abroad at National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. In 2011, he earned the M.S. degree in environmental engineering with a research focusing on membrane fouling behavior in membrane bioreactor operation. He had continued his study as a doctoral student since 2011 till 2017. His research interest is a combination between the biological and electrochemical method in treating nitrate-containing wastewater. Currently, he works as an engineer focusing on the fields of water and wastewater treatment using "hot" and up-to-date technologies (For example: fluidized bed crystallization (FBC), homogenous Fenton process, heterogenous Fenton process (FBR-Fenton), membrane bioreactor (MBR), UASB and others) at Gradiant Taiwan (formerly WaterPark Environment Corporation).
