I'm a student at the Singapore Institute of Technology currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Information Security.During my years pursuing my Diploma, I had undertaken many projects which allowed me to gain a strong understanding of the types of work I might do in our industry. There were many diverse cybersecurity related modules we had during the 3 years of Polytechnic which allowed me to really find out what my passion is and what I plan to pursue in the future. With these skills, it has allowed me to find my interests in Digital Forensics and Penetration Testing. During this time, I was also given the opportunity to attain the Cyber Ethical Hacker Certificate.During my internship, I had the opportunity to work with Onward Media Group as a Quality Assurance Tester. From this job, I was able to learn the process of how Web Applications are tested and the tedious process of ensuring that it works before the company can deploy it to the public.My degree studies provide me with the strong fundamentals required for me to understand and apply such knowledge in the real working world with many real life type projects and cases we're required to work on, it gives us a sense of what to expect.I am eager to learn more to expand my knowledge, and hear about any potential career opportunities.
