Mechanical/Electrical Systems DesignerUcla Co-Motion Laboratory Sep 1994 - Jun 1996The UCLA Co-Motion Laboratory was a joint effort between UCLA and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory designed to study the implementation of coordinated effort between multiple semi-autonomous robots. It focused primarily on algorithms and sensor processing to allow the robots to work in a cooperative manner with minimal input from human controllers. I supported this work by designing and manufacturing prototype circuit boards, controllers, and mechanical systems for use in locomotion and position sensing. My work also included simulation and animation of various mechanical systems for studying bipedal gait modes.
