The GIAC Advisory Board is made up of GIAC certified professionals who wish to give back to the security community by taking an active role in the GIAC program. Participation is by invitation only, and is offered to GIAC certification holders who earn a score of 90% or better on at least one certification exam.The GIAC Advisory Board members can exchange ideas and advice. We also utilize the Advisory Board list to discuss issues directly related to GIAC and SANS business, such as training and certification.

Indochina

I served as a Manager of Cybersecurity services at Ernst & Young Vietnam (EY Vietnam) covering the Indochina area (Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam) from 2015 to 2017, and took the role of technical lead/manager in charge in all Cybersecurity projects during these 3 years.• Take responsibility for training, leading, mentoring and supervising an advanced technical cybersecurity team. This team has proven their exceptional level of high performance and skillfulness in wide range of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment services throughout a great number of Cybersecurity projects delivered to many clients in various industries (banking & finance – mostly, public utilities, telecommunication, entertainment, etc.)• Build and establish EY Vietnam’s Cybersecurity Lab serving as platform to provide cybersecurity advanced services.• Develop service products, materials, templates, workplans and guidelines for go-to-market and service delivery.• Involve in several Cybersecurity seminars, symposiums and events hosted by EY Vietnam coordinating with other organizations in Indochina area.• Establish strong cooperative working relationship with Cybersecurity consultants/experts at EY globally (US, India, ASEAN, etc.) as well as Cybersecurity associations and vendors.

I am a Senior Consultant at Risk Department, EY Vietnam. I have over 3 years of experience in IT audit and IT advisory on both technical and operational aspects.A. IT AUDIT: 3 years in IT Audit with 1 year of senior role, lead team members conduct IT audit procedures of various system in different industries such as banking, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunication, etc. I specialize in auditing SAP system and had chances to review SAP systems of several leading companies in Vietnam. My professional experience consists of:• Perform reviewing of IT systems through examining the IT environment, application system environment for business activities.• Identify risks and weakness in ERP and other systems, and evaluate the effectiveness in supporting business activities.• Perform full business process review and application controls testing for the Financial Statement Close Process supported by the different packaged and in-house developed financial management systems.• Validate the integrity of information used by the company in processing business transactions.• Review of the existing policies and guidelines of the IT Department and Risk and Control Matrix for IT General Controls and provide any updates based on the current operations performed by the company.• Review Data migration process.B.
