I’m a student in the Global Business Management (HR stream) postgraduate program at Humber College. I also have the Bachelor’s degree of Oriental Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and attended the Chinese program at Taiwan National Normal University. I can speak fluently in three languages: Vietnamese, English and Mandarin, which gives me the advantage of communication when working in a multicultural environment.I have three years of experience in Human Resources and Administration. My most recent full-time job was as an Administrative Assistant in Far Eastern New Apparel (Vietnam) Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Taiwan Far Eastern Group. I worked with the company for two years in the early stages of the company which gave me experience in setting up processes for a new company. As a result, the company has become more organized and effective. To do that I have spent a lot of time thoroughly understanding the whole process of the company. This is both a challenge and an opportunity to help me develop my analytical, problem-solving and time management skills. I am a supportive person in my company so when problems arise with the working process, my co-workers don’t mind letting me know. This helps me approach problems as quickly as possible and promptly report back to my superiors and recommend necessary adjustments. Now, I’m continuing my studies to add more expertise while looking for new opportunities in the HR field and can be reached either through this profile or by e-mail at linh.tru.nguyen@gmail.com.
