BIDMC is a world-class teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. The Barouch Lab in the Center for Virology and Vaccine Research focuses on studying and developing novel vaccine and eradication strategies.‣ Cloned and transfected various COVID-19 and Tuberculosis adenovirus vectors, as a member of the Virology Group.‣ Led and trained a team of ten operators as the Manager of the Neutralizing Antibody Assay Team. Organized samples, schedules, and ran the NAb assay in BSL2+ suite weekly. Maintained and transfected a mammalian cell line to produce all required pseudo-virus. Improved efficiency by doubling weekly plate runs and reorganizing data analysis and storage.‣ Constructed mRNA vaccines by linearizing DNA templates, performing IVT, LiCl precipitation, and cellulose-based purification, finalizing with LNP Fabrications. Qualitatively verifying with gel electrophoresis, ELISA, Ribogreen and Zetasizer protocols.‣ Aided a PHD student with studies on AAV, gene therapy and cancer vaccines, by performing mouse work and multiple assays.‣ First author in three publications. Co-authored over 10 research papers.

Conducted tutoring sessions for student currently enrolled in Spanish courses at RIT. The goal was to enhance students' oral and written Spanish proficiency by implementing customized lessons for students of all levels, such as games and conversation practice, to make the learning process enjoyable and effective.

LIBRA, Laboratory of Investigation in Biomechanics and Applied Robotics, is a department with multiple ongoing projects, which include the development of wearables and rehabilitation software, movement analysis and characterization of other biological patterns, materials study, and social robotics. ‣ Designed, 3D printed and assembled a personalized hand prosthetic for a Peruvian senator utilizing Autodesk Fusion 360.‣ Contributed to the design and assembly of several customized arm prosthetics for underprivileged individuals. Additionally, conducted extensive testing on various materials to determine durability, flexibility, and overall aesthetics.‣ Presented research findings at multiple conferences, attracting both individuals in need of prosthetics, and financial contributors for this non-profit organization.

Establishment Labs is a global, high-tech medical device company that designs, develops, and manufactures advanced silicone-filled implants. ‣ Enhanced the manufacturing process of new implants by revising relevant documentation in collaboration with the team.‣ Attended several implant surgeries, gaining valuable firsthand experience in the practical application of the products.
